You can check in online (via the website or mobile app) or at the airport. Check-in opens (time varies depending on the rules set by the airline). Typically, check-in counters open 2-1.5 hours before departure and close 40-50 minutes before departure. Online check-in begins 24 hours before departure and closes 40-50 minutes before departure. Online check-in allows you to check in six people at a time.

For the piece of hand baggage, the maximum weight is 8 kg, and its dimensions cannot exceed the maximum size of 115 cm (50 x 40 x 25 cm – dimensions including the wheels, handle, lateral pockets, etc.). The free baggage allowance is set as a limited number of standard pieces of baggage. For example, one standard piece of checked baggage weighs a maximum of 23 kg and has maximum dimensions of 158 cm (width + height + depth).

Unaccompanied Minor service is a special service offered by Air Moldova for unaccompanied children. Unaccompanied minors aged between 5 and 18 years old can travel on Air Moldova flights. Unaccompanied Minor service is not permitted on codeshare flights where Air Moldova is not, in fact, the operating carrier.

Children under two years of age are considered infants. One infant under two years of age (part-time) is entitled to a 90% discount off the adult fare without a seat. If you fly together with several infants under two years old, for the others, you buy tickets at a discount of 25% or 30% of the adult fare, depending on the chosen destination with a separate seat.

Small animals can travel in the cabin if the combined weight of the pet and carrier does not exceed 17 lbs (8 kg). For pets traveling in the cabin, carriers must not exceed the dimensions of 25 cm x 40 cm x 50 cm, be properly ventilated, and be leakproof. Due to local regulations, pets are not accepted for transportation on Air Moldova flights to/from Great Britain, Ireland, Portugal, and United Arab Emirates.
