Airlines operating Airbus A320neo airplanes

The Airbus A320neo is the latest production variant featuring newer generation engines, larger winglets called sharklets and other refinements. The cabin also received a full make-over. It now features Airbus' Space-Flex design that allows for more passenger seating thanks to innovative lavatory and galley configurations. Newer bigger overhead bins are also available. The A320neo program was launched in December 2010. The first flight took place in 2014 and the type entered service in 2016 after Lufthansa took delivery of the type. The A320neo has around 15% lower fuel consumption and produces only about half the noise during take-off compared with the original variant now commonly referred to as the A320ceo.
