Parata Air is a South Korean low-cost airline, formerly known as Fly Gangwon. Its headquarters are in Yangyang, Gangwon province. It resumed operations in late 2025 after rebranding and acquiring new aircraft, including Airbus A320-200s and A330-200s. Parata Air operates domestic flights with plans to into expand into international services targeting various Asian destinations.

Check in rules
Web check-in is available for all Parata Air flights. For airport check-in, passengers are advised to arrive at least 2 hours before departure (3 hours at Incheon Airport). For domestic flights, arrival at least 1 hour before departure is recommended. Airport check-in counters are open from 1 hour and 30 minutes to 30 minutes before the scheduled departure time.

Parata Air passengers may bring one carry-on bag not exceeding 115 cm in total dimensions (55×40×20 cm) and 10 kg in weight. Business Smart passengers may bring two carry-on bags. Checked baggage must meet airline size and weight limits; items over 203 cm may be refused. Bags up to 35 kg can be checked with an additional fee.

Parata Air offers a UM service for children traveling alone—ages 5–12 (5–14 for Vietnam routes) on international flights and 5–12 on domestic flights. Reservations must be made at least 48 hours before departure with full guardian details. Guardians must present ID and complete the consent form at check-in. The service fee is 120,000 KRW (USD 120) for international and 30,000 KRW (USD 30) for domestic flights. Airline staff assist the child at check-in, during the flight, and upon arrival until meeting the guardian.

Infants under 24 months must travel on an adult’s lap and cannot occupy a separate seat. Only one infant is allowed per adjusted seats due to oxygen mask limits. If one adult travels with more than one infant, an extra seat must be purchased for each additional infant (90% of adult fare on domestic, 75% on international flights). Infants must be at least 7 days old to travel. On international flights, infant fares are 10% of the adult fare; domestic travel is free. Small or foldable strollers within 115 cm total dimensions may be carried on; larger ones must be checked in.

Parata Air allows small pets—dogs, cats, and birds at least 8 weeks old—to travel in the cabin with advance application at least 48 hours before departure. Each adult passenger may bring one pet per carrier, with a total weight (including the carrier) not exceeding 9 kg. Up to two young animals under 6 months, a mother with her young, or a pair of birds may share one carrier. Pets are not accepted in the cargo hold. Required travel documents, such as quarantine certificates, must be prepared for international flights. Fees per segment are 100,000 KRW (JPY 10,000) for Japan routes, 200,000 KRW (USD 200) for Vietnam routes, and 20,000 KRW for domestic flights.
