Air Congo (4H) seat map listing

Founded in 2024 with assitance from Ethiopian Airlines, Air Congo is the new flag carrier of the Democratic Republic of the Congo. It's main hub is at Kinshasa's N'djili International Airport. The airline commenced domestic services in late 2024 with a leased Boeing 737-800 from Ethiopian Airlines. International services were introduced in 2026 with operations to countries like South Africa, Tanzania and Cameroon.

Check in rules

For domestic Air Congo flights, online check-in is available from 48 hours until 1 hour before departure. For international flights, online check-in opens 72 hours before departure and closes 3 hours prior. Online check-in cannot be canceled within 3 hours of departure.

Baggage

Air Congo allows 1 piece of cabin baggage free of charge up to 10 kg (22lbs) in Business Class or 7 kg (15.4lbs) in Economy Class with total dimensions not exceeding 115 cm (45") (L + W + H). Checked baggage is depending on the ticket class and destination: Business Class passengers may check 2 bags up to 30 kg (66lbs) each, while Economy Class passengers may check 1 bag, with each piece not exceeding 158 cm (62") in total dimensions (L + W + H).

Unaccompanied minors

Air Congo considers children aged 5–11 traveling alone as Unaccompanied Minors, requiring a mandatory escort service and payment of the adult fare plus a $50 service fee. Children 12–17 may travel alone with the UM service optional, also subject to a service fee. Children under 5 years old are not accepted unless accompanied by a family member, and a completed UM form with guardian contact details is required before travel.

Infants

Air Congo allows infants aged 0–23 months to travel without a separate seat, provided each infant is accompanied by an adult passenger. Up to three infants may be booked, but each must travel with an accompanying adult. Infant tickets are priced at 10% of the adult fare. If a separate seat is requested for the infant, the ticket will be issued at the applicable child fare with a child discount.

Pets

Air Congo allows cats and dogs in the cabin or baggage compartment, transported in an approved container. On some aircraft, like Q-400, pets may be carried in the baggage hold. Guide dogs and assistance dogs are permitted to travel free of charge in the cabin, properly harnessed and muzzled and the airline is notified in advance.
